This was supposed to be an example of Customer Paid Postage on the Post Office's (relatively) new electronically generated labels. The item was originally shipped to the customer in a plain box and cost $5.75 to ship via Priority Mail. So when I found out I needed to have her ship it back, I printed the above label on December 20 and mailed it to her to use in returning the package. I received it back in the mail about January 31st. She had taken my prepaid postage label for $5.75 and used it on a new Flat Rate Box. The only problem is that the "One Price" the circled text trumpets is $7.70 not $5.75. An interesting philatelic curiosity. |
